Cosmetic Dentistry

Healthy teeth may not always be perfect in appearance. That’s okay, our helpful team has transformed many smiles over the years, and we’re here to help improve yours too.

Go Digital with SmileMore

With digital dentistry, cosmetic treatments take less time, sometimes only a single visit, giving you dazzling results much sooner.

What is Cosmetic Dentistry?

Unlike preventative or restorative dentistry, which focus on achieving and maintaining optimum oral health, cosmetic dentistry addresses how a smile looks. Making adjustments to your teeth to help you achieve the smile you want complements your overall general and oral health. From single cosmetic dentistry procedures to multiple treatments working in tandem, there are many possible treatment options to explore. Using modern advances in dentistry, we can make small enhancements, such as brightening your teeth to larger changes, like a complete smile makeover.

Cosmetic Dentistry Consultations are Free

Learning your options and getting more information is the best way to make an important decision. When it comes to altering your appearance, you may be a little hesitant. Whether it’s uncertainty about the outcome, the cost, or anxiety about sitting in the dental chair, we can talk through all your options and find a treatment plan for you that meets your needs. After all, investing the time to transform your smile can have a tremendous impact on your self-esteem and confidence. As long as your teeth are healthy and there aren’t any pre-existing oral health issues, we can jump into treatment planning immediately. If there are some areas of concern, we’ll recommend that we resolve any unhealthy gum or tooth areas before making them prettier.

Types of Smile Issues Cosmetic Dentistry Can Address

Being a dental practice that works closely with modern technology offers us the advantage of helping our patients get the smile they desire. We can show you exactly what we see and propose treatments on how to get the results you want. SmileMore uses two different scanning machines to get an in-depth look at your teeth and show you how we can improve them. Both our CEREC and iTero machines use high-resolution 3-D imaging to render detailed depictions of your teeth. These scanners create accurate digital impressions that help create bespoke restorations, make models of your teeth, take X-rays and photographs of your mouth, and more. Depending on the treatments that will help you, our digital dentistry tools help plan your smile transformation and precise placement of any crowns, veneers, implants, or other appliances. An on-screen preview will show you how your smile could look by investing in dental treatment at SmileMore. For some smiles, we can create a trial smile, so you can try out a new smile and get a feel for it before making it permanent.

Efficient, Predictable Outcomes with Digital Dentistry

What’s Possible with Cosmetic Dentistry?

If you can dream about a better smile, we can help turn it into reality. At SmileMore, we have a variety of cosmetic dental treatments designed to help you achieve your ideal smile in the most efficient way possible. Some of our cosmetic dentistry procedures include:

A straighter smile is always possible. We’ll work with you to determine if CFAST Orthodontics, Six Month Smiles, or Invisalign is the right treatment for you.

Cosmetic Bonding

We apply a tooth-coloured composite material to the tooth, harden it with a bright light, then trim, shape and polish the material to restore a chipped, cracked or misshapen tooth.

A bespoke cap made from our CEREC machine fits over an entire damaged or misshapen tooth, restoring the tooth’s appearance and function.

For one or more missing teeth, this custom appliance fills the gap with false teeth and stays in place with crowns on either end which attach to your natural teeth.

Titanium replacement tooth roots are surgically implanted into the jaw bone, anchoring it firmly in place and creating a foundation for a replacement tooth.

Incredibly thin shells made of tooth-coloured material (either porcelain or composite) cover the entire front surface of a tooth, changing the colour, shape, size or length of your teeth.

Teeth Whitening

We use Enlighten Teeth Whitening, a brightening system which guarantees a B1 shade through a combination of in surgery and at home whitening.
