Every smile makeover can be different and we will ensure that you are fully informed of all the options that are available and help you make the best decision depending on the situation
Common procedures include
Whitening – The most common technique for a simple makeover using the “Enlighten” system. Personal bespoke trays are manufactured.
A pre-whitening protocol is introduced and then the gel kits are supplied to use over a two week period. The process is then completed in the dental practice with a special final gel.
There is a guaranteed final outcome achieving brighter, whiter teeth.
Composite bonding – A smile can be significantly improved by altering the shapes and appearance of individual teeth by adding white filling (composite) material.
This can often be achieved in one visit with no injections and totally painlessly.
Where there are small spaces, misshapen teeth, different length teeth and wear then this can all be corrected by bonding. This can be pre-planned digitally to help provide a preview and make things predictable.
Orthodontics or Braces (clear or traditional, 6 months smiles, IAS braces), CLEAR aligners (Invisalign) or inside braces (lingual) can be used to “move” teeth over a period of time (dependent on changes required) into a more ideal position.
Planning can be undertaken digitally so the final tooth position can be predictably achieved.
Porcelain veneers – A thin layer of porcelain bonded on the surface of teeth that can alter shape, colour and position.
They are Individually designed and planned in conjunction with digital planning and our bespoke cosmetic technicians.
Tooth colour, lip shape, facial proportion eye and skin colour are all taken in to account when designing a veneer smile.
A smile trial is undertaken in order to help you wear and preview the final design in order to make the smile makeover as predictable as possible
Sometimes a combination of some, or all of the above procedures are used.
